Jessica G. lifestyle is busy as ever and she loves it that way. Her favorite pastime is spending quality time with her daughter and shop at the Coach retailers in Houston. As the lead stock support; she is learning the process of shipment and stock maintenance and also a full time mother. Soon Jessica will return to school to study nursing in hopes of one day becoming a Registered Nurse.

We appreciate Jessica G. for taking part in our magazine; you will definitely be seeing her again.

About ME:

A writer, spoken word artist, poet, entrepreneur, photographer, professional stylist and mother, the talented creative vision of ChloeJames flows through each word of her 18 track record mixtape. Completed in late 2013, she has since released 13 singles, with more to come. She has determined to make a name for herself as a ghost writer for other artists, and musicians, and a solo artist. Her background includes hosting and managing her own open mic nights where she brought the new artists to the stage, veterans and legendary artists and musicians in and around Greater Houston area. Delivering heartfelt poetry combined with sampled beats and instruments in both private and public events. Chloe James has .performed all over Houston, where she was first introduced by Black Snow, a legend in the Poetry Community. Upon releasing her album, she has been approached by local artists for collaborations projects, currently working with all genres. Opening for Black Ice at the Yoga House in 2015 as well as Live Performance at the Difference, she is expanding her resume. A musical background, she owes her inspirational qualities to the likes of musical artists such as Eve, Jill Scott, Too Short, Eazy E, 2Pac, Notorious BIG, and Erykah Badu, her undying love for hip hop and hardcore rap also adds a touch of street to her sound. She knows what she wants and after starting her management company in 2010, she is branding herself along with other artists and entertainers. Her talents are limitless, and she is reaching for new heights for exposure, marketing, promoting and advertisement, a one woman show.

THE WRITINGS OF LIFE IS BORN:

Produced by Nigerian Supreme Squad (N.S.S.) CEO, KingBizhop in Houston, Texas and it took her nearly three months to complete, from start to finish. Writing has been outlet from the age of 9 and since written hundreds to thousands of poetry and music. ChloeJames readiness and eagerness to get into this business makes her all the more exciting to watch out for in 2016 as she is revamping her blog and social media presence. She is opening doors for other artists seeking mentors, guidance and the opportunity to work with her on so many different levels. An independent artist in her own right, she is looking to help other artists showcase their talents while yet again creating platforms, showcases and live performances.

Q. I hate shopping, how can I make it without buying all the wrong things?

A. For the past ten years, I have assisted women in creating fabulous wardrobes and as well as enhancing their own personal style. It's about listening to the clients, it's about adjusting your own ideas as a stylist and incorporating the best collaborative efforts by both parties. I have been fortunate to work both in Retail and Business Professional environments, have kept up with trends, and remain focused on what's important when it comes to women and fashion. We want comfortable, we want agile, we want sexy all in one outfit. With most women, shopping is the last thing on their mind, from the hard lighting to the trick mirrors, the experience can be all too stressing. There are a few rules to having a great time while filling your wardrobe with goodies.

Rules to Shopping!

SHOPPING CAN BE FUN!

1.) Go through your inventory (try on items, pair them with other things to ensure they fit your current style trend.)

2) Purge those items immediately (either goodwill or trash)

3.) Create Budget

4.) Call a Shopping Partner (who will give good sound advice)

5,) Make a list of shopping retailers

6) Pay attention to cost, sizing, fabric, and texture

STOP THE VIOLENCE AGAINST OUR WOMEN AND CHILDREN!

WHAT IS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE?
Domestic violence (also known as intimate partner violence) can happen to anyone, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, income, or other factors.

The Victims
-1 in 4 women will experience domestic violence during her lifetime.
-Women experience more than 4 million physical assaults and rapes because of their partners, and men are victims of nearly 3 million physical assaults.
-Women are more likely to be killed by an intimate partner than men.
-Women ages 20 to 24 are at greatest risk of becoming victims of domestic violence.
-Every year, 1 in 3 women who is a victim of homicide is murdered by her current or former partner.

The Families
-Every year, more than 3 million children witness domestic violence in their homes.
-Children who live in homes where there is domestic violence also suffer abuse or neglect at high rates (30% to 60%).
-A 2005 Michigan study found that children exposed to domestic violence at home are more likely to have health problems, including becoming sick more often, having frequent headaches or stomachaches, and being more tired and lethargic.
-A 2003 study found that children are more likely to intervene when they witness severe violence against a parent – which can place a child at great risk for injury or even death.

The Circumstances

-Domestic violence is most likely to occur between 6 pm and 6 am.
-More than 60% of domestic violence incidents happen at home

The Consequences
-According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, domestic violence is the third leading cause of homelessness among families.
-In New York City, 25% of homeless heads of household became homeless due to domestic violence.
-Survivors of domestic violence face high rates of depression, sleep disturbances, anxiety, flashbacks, and other emotional distress.
-Domestic violence contributes to poor health for many survivors. For example, chronic conditions like heart disease or gastrointestinal disorders can become more serious due to domestic violence.
-Among women brought to emergency rooms due to domestic violence, most were socially isolated and had fewer social and financial resources than other women not injured because of domestic violence.
-Without help, girls who witness domestic violence are more vulnerable to abuse as teens and adults.
-Without help, boys who witness domestic violence are far more likely to become abusers of their partners and/or children as adults, thus continuing the cycle of violence in the next generation.
-Domestic violence costs more than $37 billion a year in law enforcement involvement, legal work, medical and mental health treatment, and lost productivity at companies.
