WE ARE WHAT WE SPEAK....
Thank you Dr. Maya Angelou for the passion you filled our hearts with, and the desire to tell it like it is. My admiration for this woman goes above and beyond just a celebratory one, from my very first poem written twenty years ago she has made me believe in every impossible. I believed in her struggle, her story and the winner that set her apart from others, she was in her own right: A GREAT DELIVERER of words. I love her education, her mind, and the enthusiasm she exude, it was in her that I truly believed in poetry and the ability to change lives with it. I am thankful to her today.
